I am a newbie and would appreciate your help. I just bought Dreambox 500+ S and want to take an image backup before I start to load new images etc. I am having trouble making a backup using Flashwizard Pro 4.
My Dreambox IP is 192.168.1.103 and I can successfully ping to it and is connected via a router. In Flashwizard connecting parameters I have put in the correct IP with login as root and Password as dreambox. When I click on Install a firmware into FLASH memory icon (on the left panel) and click on Flash Image backup, it tries to connect and says invalid login/password,
Now the strange thing, when I click configuration and utilities icon (on the left panel) and click on Smart telnet, it connects fine and I can see and view files as root, even if I change the password to anything else smart telnet still connects… why?
What am I doing wrong, how do I get flashwizard image backup working?
Are their newer versions of Flashwizard Pro and where...

Either DREAMUP for flash installation or BARRY ALLEN for Multiboot. Flash Wizard can't be used anymore. Sponsored Links (#3) majoralf. Then you go into your pc and open an internettbrowser and then type the ipadress to your 7020. Then you can upload your new image and restart the tuner. And on 7020 there are no flasherase.
